Fossil Spiders, an Ant and a Fly in Baltic Amber
These are two 44 million year old fossil spiders (order Araneae), an ant (family Formicidae) and two flies (order Diptera) preserved in Baltic Amber. The only photo that's provided with this specimen is of the ant.
As a reminder, most inclusions in baltic amber are extremely small so magnification will be needed to make out much detail. Included with your order is a physical photo of the specimen, and we will also email you a high resolution digital copy.
