3" Thomsonite (Zeolite) On Stilbite - Maharashtra, India

This is an incredible 3.0" long specimen of the zeolite Thomsonite from the Maharashtra province of India. Thomsonite is one of the rarest zeolites found in the volcanic rocks in the area. The fuzzy balls of Thompsonite have a beautiful peach coloration, and are up to .84" across.

Small tabular stilbite crystals can be found protruding from the surface of the matrix, surrounding the thompsonite "blobs" that seem to ooze across the specimen.
