White Arnioceras Ammonite Cluster - England

This is a stunning cluster of white, Arnioceras cf. falcaries ammonite fossils collected at Hinkly Point in England. These ammonites are Lower Jurassic in age, or approximately 200 million years old. There are several specimens on this 7.5" wide black of limestone, measuring just under 3 inches each. They have been wonderfully prepared to extract them from the hard rock. The base of the rock is fairly flat so that it stands up on it's own without the need for a display stand.
