Large, 9.2" Priscacara Fossil Fish - Wyoming

This is a large and visually impressive, 9.2" long Priscacara serrata fossil fish from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This is one of the more uncommon fish found in the quarries. It was collected this past summer at Warfield's Quarry near Kemmerer. Excellent detail on this fine specimen.

It is centered on an unbroken, irregularly shaped piece of limestone measuring 12x8.2" . There is restoration to many of the spines, some areas of the front of the head, and parts of the tail fin. We can add a backing to the piece for stability and install mounting hardware allowing it to be hung on a wall upon request at no charge.

It comes with a display stand.
