This is a large, 8" Priscacara serrata from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This is one of the more uncommon fish found in the quarries. It was collected this past summer at Warfield's Quarry near Kemmerer. Excellent detail on this fine specimen. The slab of rock has been back with wood for stability and to also make it easy to hang the specimen on a wall. There is a repaired crack running through diagonally rock and the front half of the fish that required some restoration and there is also some restoration on the tail fin.
It comes with a display stand.
