9 Inch Ammonite (Half) - Agate Preservation

This is a large cut and polished Cleoniceras ammonite fossil from the Cretaceous of Madagascar. It is just over 9 inches wide. The colors of agate and other minerals that replaced it during the fossilization process are beautiful. You can see "mother-of-pearl" colored shell on the reverse side. Simply awe inspiring!

Half of the ammonite is included along with acrylic display stand.
