5.6" Stephanoceras Ammonite - Dorset, England
This is a nicely prepared, and uncommon Stephanoceras humphresianum from the Dorset Coast region of England. It's quite large at 5.6" wide and the base of the rock has been sawed flat so that it stand upright without the need for a display stand. It's Middle Jurassic, Bajocian stage in age or approximately 160 million years old.
