This is a beautiful, 4.4" tortoise (Testudo) from the White River Formation in South Dakota. It is inflated, not highly crushed like many specimens. There are some spots of crack repair and stabilization, though overall the shell and the stone are very stable. It comes with an acrylic display stand.
