This is a top quality, 2.8" long Saharops bensaidi trilobite quarried at Oued Ghris, Morocco. The preservation and preparation on this specimen is fantastic. The shell is very detailed, and has not been "burnt" with air abrasives, all of the tiny spines are free-standing and the eye facets are clear. The rock has been left in a very natural state without visible tool marks. The only restoration is the tip of the right genal spine.
