2.7" Fossil Leaf (Allophylus)- Green River Formation, Utah

This is a 2.7" long (including stem) fossil leaf (Allophylus) from the Eocene aged Green River Formation of Utah. Allophylus is a subtropical shrub in the same family as Soap Berries.

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora.
