2.6" Rare, Horned Ammonite (Prioncyclus) Fossil in Rock - Kansas

This is a well preserved Prioncyclus sp. "horned ammonite" from the Upper Cretaceous of Osborne County, Kansas These ammonites are found inside of hard concretions (nodules) which are broken open to reveal them. This specimen sits nicely on the accompanied acrylic display stand.
