1.9" Ordovician Biformites (Ophiuroid Trace Fossil) - Morocco

This is a fossil trackway/imprint (biformites) that is believed to have been created by an ophiuroid (echinoderm/brittlestar), collected from the Erfoud Region of Morocco. This biformites measures about 1.9" long and is preserved in a slab of mudstone that measures 9.7 x 7.9". It would be Ordovician in age, or approximately 450 million years old.
