1.2" Paleocene Fossil Cone (Parataxodium) - North Dakota

This is a beautiful cone fossil of the genus Parataxodium, collected from the Sentinel Butte Formation of North Dakota. It is finely detailed and the light preservation contrasts well against the dark orangish-brown rock. The reverse side also displays a prominent stem impression.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
