1.2" Gastropod (Platyceras) Fossil - Crawfordsville, Indiana
This is a fossil gastropod of the genus Platyceras. It was collected from the Edwardsville Formation of Crawfordsville, Indiana. The quality of preparation on this fossil is excellent - using skillful air abrasion techniques under a stereo microscope. There are two crinoid stems that have been exposed from the rock as well.
