1.2" Allosaurus Tooth in Sandstone - Wyoming

This is a 1.2" long tooth of Allosaurus that's still in the mudstone that was collected from Big Horn County, Wyoming. Typically dinosaur material from the Morrison Formation will be deformed and cracked due to geologic pressures, however this tooth underwent excellent preservation considering the location it came from. The prominent serrated edge of this tooth has been exposed from the mudstone and is still in great condition! There is some serration chipping along the opposite edge of the tooth, enamel chipping at the tip and some minor natural fracturing to the enamel along both faces of the tooth.

The entire specimen measures 2 x 1.4" and comes with a floating frame display case.
