FossilEra - Packaging & Order Picking (Monroe, Washington)

We are looking for additional order fulfillment staff to help with packaging and picking orders. Shipping experience is highly recommended. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position at our warehouse in the Frylands area of Monroe. We offer paid holidays and vacation time, along with a health benefits program.

You are: Able to balance customer needs with business goals and know how to deliver packaging solutions that enhance our brand and values. Curious, creative and analytical, you never stop learning and desire to find consistent solutions to unique challenges. Overall, you will have a direct impact on improving our customer experience by ensuring they receive the items they ordered safely and cleanly packaged.

Together we’ll be: A passionate team of individuals working to deliver amazing fossils and crystals to seasoned and new collectors alike. Working collaboratively as part of the warehouse packaging team, you will be a key part of the process to deliver our end product quickly and safely wrapped.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently package unique and sometimes very delicate items for shipment.
  • Pick orders for handoff to shipping.
  • Organization and sorting of products.
  • Unpack, breakdown boxes and inventory incoming items.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • The ability to do repetitive, manual labor tasks such as boxing items for hours at a time while maintaining focus and quality.
  • Be able to work very fast and efficiency.
  • A positive, "can do" attitude and a willingness to take on any assigned task.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to communicate well both verbally and in email.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to lift and move heavy items >50 lbs

  • Big plus if you have shipping experience as there is opportunity for cross-training in our shipping department.
